New hires support record
growth for CodeBlue

CodeBlue welcomes 10 new staff members, bringing total staff numbers to over 60 at branches in Auckland (Penrose and North Shore), Bay of Plenty (Tauranga), Hamilton, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Christchurch and Southland (Invercargill). 

CodeBlue's General Manager Ian Funnell says new business enquiry has never been stronger, with new customers ranging up to over 200 seats in size.

"I'm delighted with the calibre of candidate we've attracted and hired," Ian Funnell says. "The depth of technical skills and experience is very pleasing.  I think this reflects the strength of our reputation as a great place to work, with great prospects for quality people who want to work in a business with a highly customer-focussed culture," Funnell says.

Michael Walker has joined CodeBlue Christchurch as a Trusted Advisor, responsible for providing consulting and support services to Service Level Agreement clients.  He has over 10 years of industry experience. His key technology areas include VMware, Microsoft Exchange and general Windows environments.

Matt Cotton-Everitt has taken up the position of Systems Engineer and Trusted Advisor, based in Auckland. Prior to joining CodeBlue, Matt worked with Turners & Growers; HP Enterprise Services and spent one and a half years as sole IT support for a 50-seat stock broking firm in London.

Cain Macpherson has joined CodeBlue Hamilton as a Service Delivery Manager.

Rohan Bowyer and Paul Matthews have joined CodeBlue Hawkes Bay. The duo collectively brings over 35 years of IT industry experience to the table. 

In his Client Manager role, Rohan Bowyer is responsible for customer relationship management, service delivery and new business development. He'll also provide some technical support to clients as required.  Rohan brings 15-plus years of exposure to technology, predominantly in the Telecommunications and Professional Services sectors.

Paul Matthews' role as a Senior Systems Engineer and Trusted Advisor finds him responsible for providing technical support to a broad range of clients, as well as technical consultant/pre-sales support and ongoing customer relationship management. Paul has 20-plus years of experience in technology, and brings a broad range of technical skills to the table.  He's worked both in New Zealand and offshore for organisations such as Avis, Waste Management, Datacom, Digital and Hyundai.

Richard Watt has been appointed to the position of Account Manager, based in Auckland and responsible for new business and account management of customers up to 50 users. Prior to joining CodeBlue, Richard worked with Axon, IT Wholesale and Origin IT. 

Olaf Bichmann has been appointed as Service Desk Team Leader, based in Auckland.  Originally from Germany, prior to coming to New Zealand, Olaf worked with Dell in Ireland for four years and has significant experience with high-end storage solutions. 

Jaime Neal has joined CodeBlue Auckland as a Trusted Advisor.
