Chris Mackay, previously the CEO of Computerland in New Zealand, has become a major shareholder in CodeBlue and taken a seat on the CodeBlue Board.
CodeBlue founder and Executive Director Ken Davis says Mackay’s decision to invest strongly in the company, and play an ongoing strategic role, is a great vote of confidence in CodeBlue’s plans to become the leading provider of proactive monitoring and IT Services.
“We are delighted that someone of Chris’s experience and reputation shares the same vision that we have for the company,” he says.
“Chris’s help will be invaluable, especially as we expand our presence throughout the country.”
Chris Mackay says CodeBlue has built a great team over the last few years.
“I believe the company has a very bright future. The combination of experienced staff and intelligent support systems is resonating with New Zealand businesses of all sizes,” he says.
Chris was a 20-year veteran at Computerland, rising through the ranks to lead the 300-person company in 2000. Chris left Computerland after it was purchased by Telecom in 2005.
