"Outsourcing our IT support to CodeBlue was an easy decision. It gives us business continuity and security; and it is also cost effective, over the long term, compared to managing our IT support in-house."
Kiwi-Pioneered MoleMap - the world's most advanced melanoma and skin cancer screening programme - has outsourced IT support for its clinics across New Zealand and Australia to CodeBlue. Drivers for the move include the need for business continuity, security and a better return on investment.
Before outsourcing to CodeBlue, MoleMap had grappled with internal IT staff changes and a non-standardised, non-centralised IT environment across nearly 50 clinics in New Zealand and Australia.
MoleMap CEO Adrian Bowling says outsourcing his company's IT requirements to CodeBlue was ultimately an easy decision. "First, I realised outsourcing was better for the business because it gives us some business continuity and a measure of future security," Bowling says. "Second; it was going to be cost-effective, over the long term, compared to managing our IT support inhouse." Additionally, outsourcing IT support means MoleMap canfocus internal resources on development and business growth.
